The Buffalo Island Central School District and Monette Police Department have been made aware of a concerning statement made by a student during school today. Administration will be taking action in the matter.

We want our community to know that we are aware of these statements and are taking them seriously. We have investigated the statements, and we see no viable threat at this time.

The safety of our children and community will always be our highest priority.
